NOVEMBER 2, 2013 – ONE DAY – TEN CITIES – 2,000 TREES Come and be a part of the celebration to plant ten tree groves in ten cities on one day in memory of President John F. Kennedy. In an effort to offset the 301 million trees lost in 2011 due to the drought, 2,000 trees are being planted as part of the Tree North Texas initiative. We NEED your help.

20 Causes in 20 Days: #18 Texas Trees Foundation

In 2009, Erik Jorgensen set out to volunteer for 20 causes in 20 days. Erik completed his self imposed challenge and continues his 20 causes 20 days each year. Texas Trees Foundation officially became cause #18 this summer of 2013 and in his blog he explains how his experience unfolded on that bright sunny August day.
