Plant a Legacy -- The JFK Groves

Today a world of knowledge–a world of cooperation–a just and lasting peace–may be years away. But we have no time to lose. Let us plant our trees this afternoon.

– John F. Kennedy, Address at the University of California, Berkley, March 1962

Come and be a part of the celebration to plant ten tree groves in ten cities on one day in memory of President John F. Kennedy. In an effort to offset the 301 million trees lost in 2011 due to the drought, 2,000 trees are being planted as part of the Tree North Texas initiative. We NEED your help.

As a Corporate Sponsor, enjoy getting your volunteers involved and receive the  recognition your organization deserves for “going green.”

The Texas Trees Foundation believes that collaboration is important to reach our mission.   That mission includes you. Together we are creating a better quality of life in communities through the simple act of planting trees!

Which city do you want to sponsor: Dallas, Irving, Grand Prairie, Arlington, Garland, Mansfield, Richardson, Frisco, Denton or Rowlett?

Join us as a Corporate sponsor at the media filled kick-off event on November 2, 2013 representing your sponsored city.  Together let us remember a man that believed we should all aspire to be something greater than ourselves.

As a community volunteer, leave a lasting legacy by helping to plant trees that create healthy communities for years to come. Imagine, in future years,  driving by a tree you planted and feeling that sense of pride while admiring its growth.
